Slingshot Racing is one of the most original racing games on Android

No steering wheel, no engine and no brakes. Just an sledge car, an iced track and a slingshot is what you have to beat the other drivers. SR is an original physics-based racing game which tests your reflexes to the fullest.

Here's how it works: game starts and your sledge automatically begins sliding. However, since you don't have a steering wheel, you'll have to launch a grappling hook to slingshot around turning towers. Thus, tap a screen corner to launch it and hold it. Release once the turn is complete. Physics are important here; trying to achieve the perfect turn isn't easy: speed, curve angle and inertia must be taken into account. Keep rolling and you'll become a slingshot master racer.

There are different game modes. 'Career mode' features 80 races with different objectives and settings: simple straight races agains AI-players, pickups races (beat the clock while collecting cogs) and time trials to beat your personal bests. In addition, you can play up to 4 way multiplayer in a single device to beat family or friends (each one uses a screen corner to slingshot). Players can create personalized mini-tournaments. Cars can be also customized: colors and models to choose among, some of them unlockable.

One of the strongest point of this game lies on its amazingly smooth performance. It runs silky even on medium-end devices. Quite impressive due to its rich 3D graphics.
